How old is the pupil?
You can enrol for lessons online, via the Join Online. Alternatively, please speak to a member of the team at reception who can help advise on availability and book your place on the programme available at: Tipton Leisure Centre or Wednesbury Leisure Centre, Portway Lifestyle Centre and Sandwell Aquatics Centre
SLT Swimming Lessons monthly direct debit payments are based on 50 weeks to take into account the Christmas closure period each year. The price also takes into account sickness and holiday absences as credits are not issued.
The progression of all swimming lesson skills can be viewed by logging into the member portal and viewing the Skills tab under the Profile section. When you first enter the Skills section, you’ll be presented with a summary of the pupil’s progress through the overall programme.
For example, a pupil who has completed 6 out of 10 stages in the Learn to Swim framework will show 60% overall progress. Please note that skill tracking only begins from the point a pupil is transferred into the new system. This means the data may not fully reflect all previously acquired skills if the pupil is partway through the programme.
We understand that many parents and carers value seeing all previously achieved skills, and we’re actively exploring ways to include this information. However, this does not affect your or your child’s actual progression within the framework.
By scrolling along the timeline, you’ll be able to identify the pupil’s current stage. Clicking on this will provide a breakdown of their progress within that specific stage, shown as a percentage.
Click the link below to read our T&Cs. This will open in a new tab.
