After 20 incredible years as Sandwell Leisure Trust, we are evolving. We are proud to introduce our evolution to Kore, continuing to operate the amazing facilities within Sandwell as Kore Sandwell

Our new name and identity represent a new chapter for SLT and reflect who we are today, and who we aspire to be for the communities we serve. It symbolises our shared belief that wellbeing starts at the centre, at the core of every person, every family, and every community.

Why the Change?

The needs of our communities are changing. People are looking for more than a gym or swimming pool. They want connection, balance and support for their overall well-being. Kore Sandwell is our response to that, a modern, inclusive, community-focused organisation that places health and happiness at the heart of everything we do.

FAQs

Will my membership and pricing stay the same?

Yes.  Nothing changes with your membership. Your access, pricing, bookings, and benefits all stay exactly the same. We are introducing a new health-focused membership, though and more information on this will be promoted soon.


Has the organisation changed?

Only our name and visual identity are changing. We are still the same local charitable trust, with the same commitment to serving Sandwell’s communities.


Do I need a new app?

No action is needed right now. We will update branding gradually, and your existing app will continue to work during the transition. At some point, the app will be updated to show our new app ‘My Kore’


Will staff remain the same?

Yes. You’ll still see the same friendly faces and professional team across all our centres.


Are class timetables or opening hours changing?

No. All timetables, opening hours and services continue as normal.


Do hirers need to change their contracts or booking details?

No. Your existing agreements remain valid. We’ll update documents in due course, but no action is required from you right now.


Will the centres have new signage and branding?

Yes. You’ll start to see our new look in centres, marketing and online. We’ll introduce changes gradually to avoid disruption.
