The next Pool Lifeguard training course will be taking place over 3 consecutive weekends at Langley Swimming Centre:
Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th February
Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th February
Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th March
(Times to be confirmed by tutor)
Price: £285
All candidates are required to complete a pre-requisite swim test which will be held at Langley Swimming Centre.
Pre-requisites:
- Be 16+ years old
- 50m swim in under 60 seconds
- Continuous 100m Swim on Front
- Continuous 100m Swim on Back
- Surface Dive to recover mannequin from deepest part of the pool
- Tread Water for 30 seconds
- Climb out of deepest part of the pool unaided
Candidates may be given the opportunity to apply for either a casual or a permanent position within Sandwell Leisure Trust upon successful completion of this course (subject to recruitment opportunities)
