SLT shortlisted for UKactive Awards

Sandwell Leisure Trust shortlisted for three categories at the National UKactive Awards 2025

Sandwell Leisure Trust (SLT) is proud to announce that it has been named as a finalist in three prestigious categories at the National UKactive Awards 2025. This recognition places SLT among the leading organisations in the UK’s leisure and physical activity sector, following a record number of entries from across the country.

SLT has been shortlisted in the following categories:
• Midlands Regional Club of the Year, Sandwell Aquatic Centre
• Digital Transformation Award
• Outstanding Leadership Award

Being named a finalist is a significant achievement, as the UKactive Awards are one of the most respected accolades in the industry. The competition attracts entries from some of the largest and most innovative operators nationwide, all aiming to showcase excellence in delivering health and wellbeing opportunities.

This achievement marks another proud moment for SLT, reflecting the high-quality services we deliver in partnership with Sandwell Council. SLT extends its thanks to all staff across its centres, whose commitment and hard work continue to provide outstanding facilities and programmes for the community.

The finalists were announced on 19 August by UKactive and the awards ceremony will take place at the ICC in Birmingham on Thursday 30 October. The event will bring together businesses and individuals who are driving innovation, impact, and excellence across the physical activity sector.
