Make the most of your Bank Holiday Monday with us! Whether you’re hitting the gym, jumping in the pool, or getting competitive on the courts, most of our centres will be open on reduced hours – perfect for an active start before enjoying the rest of your day.
Summer Bank Holiday Opening Hours - Monday 25th August:
- Portway Lifestyle Centre - 7am - 2pm
- Sandwell Aquatics Centre - 6.30am - 1pm
- Wednesbury Leisure Centre - 6.30am - 4pm
- Tipton Sports Academy* - 10am - 6pm
- Tipton Leisure Centre - Closed
- Hadley Stadium - Closed
*Tipton Sports Academy: Please note that all racket sports and gym will be open to the public. But NO tennis coaching squads will take place. Racket sports include padel, tennis, badminton, table tennis and squash.
Free Swimming & Summer Fun
If you’re looking for activities to keep the family moving this Bank Holiday, don’t forget:
- Free Swimming is available for Sandwell residents aged 18 and under
- Our Summer Holiday Activities programme is in full swing, with everything from diving sessions to casual football.
