SLT has your summer sorted with fun, affordable activities for all ages!

Whether you’re diving into the water, trying a new sport, or just looking to keep the kids active, our Summer Holiday Programme is packed with something for everyone.

Here’s what you can look forward to:

Free Swimming

Sandwell residents aged 18 and under can enjoy free swim sessions every week of the holidays – great for staying active and beating the heat!

Aqua Mayhem

Make a splash at Wednesbury Leisure Centre with this fun-filled inflatable pool session—guaranteed to be an action-packed day!

Diving Sessions 

Available at Sandwell Aquatics Centre, we have a range of diving sessions suitable for both beginners and more experienced divers. Our tasters and open sessions provide the perfect opportunity to try out the sport.

All sessions are from 10-12pm and bookable at £14.00 per person per day. Book at reception at any time, or up to 7 days advance online.

Taster sessions

Every Friday from 25th July – 29th August. 4pm for Juniors and 7:30pm for adults.

£2.50 per person.


Open sessions
Every Saturday from 26th July – 30th August. Running Saturdays 12:30pm-1:30pm.

Open Diving Sessions (Only 40 spaces), payable at reception
  • £3.00 for Juniors/Teens
  • £5.00 for Adults
  • £7.50 for Family 1 (1 Adult/1 Child)
  • £14.00 for Family 2 (2 Adults/2 Children)
No pre-booking required, sessions are first come first served.

Available throughout the summer holiday at Portway Lifestyle Centre. 

Sessions run Monday - Sunday at 3pm-5pm


Roller Disco Summer Sessions

Skate your way into the summer holidays with our Roller Disco sessions. Available at Portway Lifestyle Centre:
2nd August 3:30pm-4:30pm
30th August 3:30pm - 4:30pm 

Junior Rackets

Available daily 9am–4pm at Tipton Sports Academy,
Try tennis, squash, badminton & table tennis! For Junior rackets court bookings, at least one junior play (aged 17 or under) must be present.

Junior Padel Coaching

Indoors at Sandwell Padel: Tipton Sports Academy.  Join our expert Padel coach to learn new skills, play fun games and experience this amazing new sport! 

£10 per 90 minute session for ages 8 to 16.

Half-Price Football at Hadley Stadium 

Book 1/3rd of the 3G Football Pitch at Hadley Stadium for just £37.50 per hour.

Half-Price Badminton Offer

Enjoy discounted badminton courts at Hadley Stadium! 
Only £5.50 per court. Available 9am-5pm last booking being 4pm-5pm, subject to availability.
