Under 8s Policy

Parent/Guardian Responsibility

All children under 8 years of age must be accompanied and supervised into the changing rooms and in the water by a competent adult over 16 years of age.

One adult may accompany up to two children under the age of 8 years.

The supervising adult must be in the water or changing rooms with the child and maintain close contact and supervision for the under 8 at all times. Weak and non-swimmers will be asked to wear armbands.

Definition of a competent adult:

At least 16 years of age and a competent swimmer and can provide proof of their age if asked by staff.
